Arum’s success continues with strong organic growth

30% revenue growth confirms Arum’s continuing success

Arum has confirmed strong organic growth, reporting a 30 per cent revenue increase for the financial year 2012-13. This was largely drive by revenue from Europe outside the UK which now accounts for 50% of income.

As part of its commitment to further invest and grow the business, Arum recruited a number of senior individuals who bring a wealth of additional experience to Arum’s core banking, financial services, utilities and business process outsourcing (BPO) markets.

Aleks Tomczyk, Arum’s Managing Director, predicts further growth in 2014. He commented: “Our specialist debt collections and recoveries team are helping clients improve financial performance whilst coping with an ever changing environment, ensuring good customer outcomes and taking the opportunities presented by emerging contact channels, ‘big data’ analytics and systems.”

He added: “Particularly strong growth is being recorded in Arum’s collections Systems business as we work on legacy systems improvements and help clients select, implement and migrate to new platforms, including FICO’s Debt Manager Version 9 (DM9)”

Arum’s key debt collections and recoveries consulting projects in 2012-13 included: working with clients on future ‘Best in Class Collections’ visions; embedding compliant Collections & Recoveries processes in highly regulated environments like the Republic of Ireland; long-term outsource support for key collections systems; and Interim Management including Heads of Collections roles in Ireland and Bermuda.

The company created a base in Ireland and further strengthened its collections and recoveries data and analytics offering in 2013 with the appointment of two leading figures – Matt Buckman, the former Director of Recoveries at Lloyds Banking Group, and Sanjot Gill previously one of the leading recoveries analytics specialists at analytics-driven debt purchaser Arrow Global.

“Having proven the benefits for clients through our cutting edge analytics models very quickly, we forecast accelerated growth in this area”, said Jonathan Dunn, Director of Business Development and Marketing.

“We are also continuing to bolster our Software applications business”, he added. “Our specialist team is working with ambitious enterprises to design, develop and integrate innovative software applications crucial to their own business success.”

During 2012-13, Arum started working with Cyberhawk – the world leader in aerial inspection and survey using state-of-the-art remotely operated aerial vehicles – to deliver a cutting-edge suite of applications, including a data portal that will dramatically improve operational productivity for Cyberhawk and the user experience for their clients.

The team also joined forces with an award-winning social enterprise, Talking Mats, to develop a suite of tablet apps that help people with communication difficulties.
